Gaga Cigarettes

I can't believe how you looked at me
With your James Dean glossy eyes
In your tight jeans with your long hair
And your cigarette stained lies

The goal of this project were to take lyrics from Lady Gaga's song Speechless and create an interactive poster that relates to taste.

I used the ideas of creating cigarettes that look very alluring and mysterious, but taste really bad. The branding of the cigarette box was inspired by the album artwork of her various albums, while the physical objects were meant to create a negative visceral reaction to the sense of taste.

Each cigarette is made from rolled up fruit roll ups, with the song lyrics hand written onto the surface. They are then put inside the box at various lengths and there is tobacco sprinkled on top of them and outside of the box to detract from its appeal.

I was inspired by the meaning of the song to create this interactive poster.
